Martin Grogan – BSc (Hons) MIACP
I am qualified to work in a broad range of issues in the field of counselling and psychotherapy; I have a particular skill set in working with sex, sexuality, sexual orientation (Gay / Lesbian), bi-sexuality, Transgendered and sexual relationship difficulties in couples.
In addition, I am strong in holding those who are struggling to come to terms with a loss in their lives; loss of a loved one, loss of a pregnancy and the loss of the hopes that were with it, loss of a close relationship, irrespective where it was a sexual or a platonic one, along with the many other types of losses we encounter in our lives. I offer support to couples experiencing difficulties in communicating and relating in a healthy, open and honest couples way.
I have been involved in local, regional and national health information reports and training manuals and I have co-written one of the main sexual health education resource which supports the Relationship, Sexuality Education (RSE) module for post-primary schools.
I offer week-day and evening appointments. From June 1st 2018 my practice will be based in Cork City Centre. I am contactable at 087-1247123 most days and at most times throughout the week. If my phone is switched off, I will return your call or if you wish you may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I am also co-author of Sex &You: A Modern Irish Perspective. To order a copy please email email@example.com.
